Server Features
Everything you want in a Minecraft survival server, and nothing you don't.
Anti P2W
We're proud to say that the Mojang enforcement team have verified that we are compliant with Minecraft EULA. This is a vanilla server and we hate gimmicky P2W servers as much as you do.
Verification detailsAnti Grief
Your builds are protected with land-claiming. Griefing and stealing are strictly against the rules and actively moderated on this Minecraft survival server.
Read the rulesActive Community
Join a mature and welcoming community of players and friendly staff on this vanilla Minecraft server. Many people here have been playing for years and just as many have only just started out. Join us for a little bit and see how you like it!
High Performance, No Lag
Our servers run Folia on cutting-edge Ryzen 9 9950X3D CPUs so players can experience vanilla mob caps and a high render distance with hundreds of people online, closer to the feel of singleplayer survival.
Live Map (Dynmap)
Explore the world from your browser with our live online map. Find builds and plan your next adventure on this Minecraft SMP server.
Open the mapProximity Chat
Speak to nearby players as if they were actually next to you by optionally installing the PlasmoVoice or SimpleVoiceChat mod. Both mods work, and players using either mod can hear each other.
Visit Mod PageVoxy Server Support
See up to 256 chunks away by installing the Voxy mod and LOD Server Support mod. What's so special about this? Well it means that the Minecraft server will show you things 4000 blocks away without having to travel there first.
Visit Mod PageItem-based Economy
This server has a vibrant marketplace at /warp Market where players use diamonds as currency to trade items. Since our inception we've always thought having money in a Minecraft survival server was a gimmick.
Java and Bedrock Crossplay
Players using Minecraft Java Edition and Minecraft Bedrock Edition join the same survival world. Thanks to Geyser and Floodgate, Vanilla Europa works as both a Java Minecraft server and a Bedrock Minecraft server.

What makes Vanilla Europa a vanilla server?
Vanilla Europa is a true vanilla Minecraft survival server built around the official Minecraft gameplay loop. Normal progression, equipment, building, exploration, combat and resource gathering remain at the centre of the game, giving players the pure vanilla experience they expect.
Still vanilla
Blocks, mobs, equipment, enchantments, resource gathering, building and survival progression.
Added for public multiplayer
Land claims, moderation, crossplay, optional proximity voicechat and /tpa.
Not part of the server
Custom classes, overpowered equipment, admin shops, paid combat advantages and plugin-driven RPG progression.
What playing on Vanilla Europa feels like
Outcomes and experiences that set the server apart.
Build for the long term
Start a project today and come back to it months or years later. Your builds remain exactly where you left them in the same world, protected by land claims.
Normal survival remains the main game
Mine, craft, enchant and explore using the same core survival systems found in Minecraft Java Edition.
Protected builds and active moderation
Claim your land to prevent grief and theft. Staff moderate the server daily, and the community expects respectful behaviour from everyone.
One populated world, not a minigame network
There is one survival world shared by all players.
Historic settlements alongside untouched wilderness
Travel from spawn and you'll pass years of player history before reaching the untouched frontier where new terrain awaits.
Talk to the people around you
Install the optional PlasmoVoice or SimpleVoiceChat mod and speak to nearby players as if they were standing next to you. Both mods are compatible with each other and with the server.
Why we add what we add
Every addition to Vanilla Europa exists for a reason. Here is what each one does, why we use it and what it changes.
Anti-Grief
Claim land to prevent other players from breaking, placing or interacting within your builds.
Why we use it
A public survival world with hundreds of players needs grief prevention to remain playable long-term.
What it changes
Adds a claiming mechanic not present in unmodified Minecraft. Does not change block behaviour, crafting or progression.
/home, /tpa, and /wild
Set homes, teleport to other players with their permission and use /wild to find an unexplored area of the world.
Why we use it
A large, long-running multiplayer world would be unnecessarily difficult to navigate using walking alone. Homes and teleport requests make it practical to return to builds, visit friends and play together.
What it changes
Adds optional teleportation commands not available in unmodified survival. They do not affect resource gathering, combat, building or progression.
Item-based player economy
Players build and run chest-shops at /warp Market, trading items for diamonds.
Why we use it
A shared economy emerges naturally when hundreds of players coexist. Diamonds keep it grounded in pure vanilla.
What it changes
Adds chest-shop mechanics and a market warp. There are no admin shops, server currencies or pay-to-win advantages.
Quality-of-life mod support
Use optional client-side mods for proximity voice chat and extended world rendering. PlasmoVoice and Simple Voice Chat are bridged together, while Voxy works with our server-side LOD support.
Why we use it
Optional mods can improve the social experience and help players appreciate the scale of an eight-year-old world without changing how survival itself works.
What it changes
Entirely optional. Players can join without installing any mods, and no crafting, combat, building, resource gathering or progression mechanics are affected.
