Yes. Vanilla Europa is built around normal vanilla survival gameplay and progression. We use server-side plugins for land protection, moderation, crossplay and convenient multiplayer travel, but we do not replace survival with custom classes, overpowered equipment or a plugin-driven economy. It is not a completely plugin-free server, but it is designed to play like vanilla Minecraft in a large public world.

Yes! We support crossplay for Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. Check the Join page for connection details for your platform. Thanks to the Geyser and Floodgate projects, this server is a Bedrock Minecraft server as much at it is a Java Minecraft server

We have a land-claiming plugin which makes pretty much all forms of grief impossible provided that you've claimed what you built. We believe land-claiming is an essential part of any vanilla minecraft server

From when we started the survival Minecraft server in 2018, we have never reset the world. This means our overworld is very old and populated with people's builds. It would be a shame to reset it all, so your builds are here to stay. This is a vanilla Minecraft server after all. We want it to just feel like you're opening up your singleplayer world which happens to be inhabited by other players. And if you're wondering how we get new chunk generation, we just expand the world-border everytime the server updates.

The world was first started on the 16th of November 2018 in version 1.13. Since then we've been expanding the world-border everytime an update comes out that introduces new world-generation. That's how we get all the new chunk generation on our Minecraft SMP server.

Although this is a "European Minecraft server" based in Europe, players from the USA to Australia experience good ping because of our advanced network infrastructure.

Yes, but we don't use typical money ($, /bal, etc.) like other servers use. This is a vanilla Minecraft server, so players here transact entirely with items gotten in vanilla survival, predominantly diamonds.

We do not use MCMMO. This is a vanilla survival server and we don't feel that plugin blends well with the vanilla server experience that Minecraft intended.

We used to support server-side DistantHorizons, but now we instead support server-side Voxy through the use of the Voxy mod paired with the LOD Server Support mod. Don't worry, this is a vanilla Minecraft server so these mods are only optional, so you can play without them, but also enhance your gameplay with them on.

Yes. We are compatible with both Simple Voice Chat and PlasmoVoice. Players with SimpleVoiceChat can voicechat with players with PlasmoVoice and vice-versa. This is a vanilla Minecraft server so the mods are optional and you can play without them. Personally, we prefer PlasmoVoice because it is better than SimpleVoiceChat, but we understand that many players are used to SimpleVoiceChat, so that's why we have both.
